The Promise of Love was written for my husband (then fiance!) on his bday last year with whom I'm happily married for the past 10 months now. This month, on his bday i have posted the poem that i wrote for him. For you, Kutta !!!

The Promise of Love

Every morning I wake up in your warm thoughts
and feelings that all my life I have sought

With every passing day, I know you more
With every passing hour, I love you more

Since I met you, I cant help feeling blessed
And thrilled that together, You & I will remain abreast

The reason why this day is important to me
Is coz it the start of a chain of events that led you to me

No one I have ever loved this way
Deep down in the secret chambers of my heart, is where you'll always stay

Locked in an embrace & sealed with a kiss,
The day we wed will be the start of endless bliss

Awaiting the hour when we will be together
On this day, I swear that I will love you forever
