The Hidden Reality

In vain I struggle to reveal my true self
In this darkened world
This world of illusion where
No care of bother is taken
To remove the veiled realities.
The crystal shines
Far too deep to be felt.
When all of a sudden
The door opens letting out
A feeling – ecstasic
But short lived
For the sweetness of outward sensations
Come in, are felt & are too swift to be rejected
The veiled truth remains – unfelt by travelers
By whom the sweetness of truth cannot be felt
For the dirty & ugly elements
Made wonderful by a covert predominates
The thick curtains cannot be removed
Or they may not be removed for as long as falsehood dominates truth
It prevails – concealing the living, subdues truth
